Our Corporate teams were delighted to advise Medmark shareholders on its significant investment from Phoenix Equity Partners to fund further expansion of the business.
Founded in 1987, Medmark is Ireland’s largest occupational healthcare provider for workplace medical assessments and wellbeing services to over 500,000 employees from its nine locations across Ireland.
Dr Robert Ryan, CEO of Medmark, commented that the investment
“represents a major milestone following a period of sustained expansion” that will enable the company “to accelerate a number of strategic initiatives already under way across the business”.
The investment will support Medmark in pursuing complementary acquisition opportunities and developing new services to meet the evolving occupational health and workplace wellbeing needs of employers across Ireland.
Barry Robinson, partner at Phoenix Equity Partners, said that he has been “hugely impressed” by Medmark and that he believes the company is “well placed to benefit from growing demand for occupational health and workplace wellbeing services across Ireland”.
Our Corporate teams advising the Medmark shareholders included Alan O’Driscoll, Laura Melody-Moran, Jonathan O’Beirne, Mairéad Murphy, Jessica Lazzari, Stephen Miller, Lynda O’Neill and Kate Duffy.
