Our Media & Entertainment Team are advising the documentary series 'The Trial of Richard Satchwell' due to air tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Television.
Presented by Virgin Media courts correspondent Deborah Naylor and produced by David Tiernan, the documentary takes an in-depth look at one of the most high-profile murder trials in recent Irish history.
The programme follows the case from Tina Satchwell's disappearance in 2017, through a cold-case breakthrough six years later, to the trial that ultimately brought her husband, Richard Satchwell, to justice.
Our team has also advised on the new series, ‘Dinner with the Enemy’, starting next Monday 6th of October.
The show will see 10 people of vastly different political backgrounds and views sit across from each other for a week of debate and conversations, all while being monitored by behavioural therapists, Dr Richard Hogan and Daniella Moyles.
Thanks to all those involved in the shows, especially Virgin Media’s David Tiernan and Ruairi Carroll and journalists; Ralph Reigel, Catherine Fegan and Paul Healy on ‘The Trial of Richard Satchwell’ and Virgin Media’s Sinead Stimpfig and Daniel Lloyd on ‘Dinner with the Enemy.’
Zoë Mollaghan and Kieran Kelly are providing pre-publication legal advice for both of these series.
