The series from Fine Point Films explores his fall from grace as he went from a beloved sporting icon to being imprisoned for defrauding people of hundreds of thousands of euros by falsely claiming to have cancer.
The documentary airs tonight on RTÉ One at 9:35pm and features never-before-seen footage of DJ Carey, interviews with victims, sports journalists and those who know him best.
