Terry recently joined as a Partner in our Real Estate team having previously been a real estate Partner at a leading global law firm for the past 7 years.
Experience
Terry has extensive experience in a wide range of areas of real estate law. Over the last 15 years, he has advised institutional investors, private investors, banks, lenders, developers and public sector bodies on all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, funding and disposal of commercial, residential and mixed-use development schemes. He also advises clients on complex commercial lease agreements, notably in the retail, hospitality, office and industrial sectors. Terry has a proven track record in giving clear, concise and practical advice to his clients.
Terry has acted for a number of global occupiers in the retail sector, including New Look, Castore, JYSK, Frasers, McDonalds, EWL Electrical. Terry is also recognised as having expertise in the social housing sector where he has acted for state bodies, developers, banks and investment funds and on social housing development schemes and long-term leasing transactions. Some of Terry’s clients active in this sector include the Land Development Agency, Bluemont Developments, Evara, Twinlite, iCare, Principal Real Estate, AIB and Arena Investors.
Terry won the Lexology Client Choice Award for Real Estate in Ireland in 2024 and again in 2025. This is a global award for excellent client care, a significant testament to Terry’s commitment to exceptional service.
