It is befitting that on International Women’s Day, we are officially announcing that the firm’s charity partner for 2024 is Women’s Aid. Since 1974, Women’s Aid have been working in Ireland to make women and children safe from domestic violence by offering free, confidential support and providing a range of services to help women break free from domestic abuse and begin to rebuild their lives.
To mark the occasion on IWD 2024, a coffee morning was hosted in our Dublin & Galway offices. The campaign theme for IWD 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. Our firm recently got together to celebrate the success of female leaders in FOD, and to open the discussion on inclusivity in the firm.
We were also delighted to attend a number of IWD events this week. This year’s International Women’s Day lunch for An Cosán was held in the Shelbourne. An Cosán transform lives across Ireland with their holistic approach to community education. It is always a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of An Cosán's amazing learners.
